Bangkok brings together a diverse group of filmmakers from different countries, professions, and creative backgrounds. From university students and independent filmmakers to self-taught creatives and performing artists, each team brings its own experiences, perspectives, and passion for storytelling. Some have years of production experience, while others have carved their own paths into filmmaking. In Part 1 of our Meet the Teams series, we introduce the people behind the cameras, their creative journeys, and what makes each team unique.

ทีมที่ 2: SumDay
We are SumDay, a team of students from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Faculty of Social Sciences, Kasetsart University. Although we are not film majors, we share a strong passion for short filmmaking and bring together diverse academic backgrounds, creative perspectives, and practical experience.
Our team has participated in more than five short film competitions, including those organized by the Ministry of Public Health and the Department of Mental Health. We have also received an award from the Parliament of Thailand. Beyond competitions, we manage our own YouTube channel, where we continuously develop our filmmaking skills, experiment with storytelling techniques, and gain hands-on production experience.
What sets SumDay apart is our ability to combine different perspectives with proven experience and a willingness to challenge ourselves. We are excited to bring our creativity, dedication, and fresh ideas to the 48 Hour Film Project Bangkok 2026 and deliver our very best work.

ทีมที่ 3: Proskuryakov Laboratory
Great stories don’t always begin in film studios. Sometimes, they begin on a small tropical island. Our team came together unexpectedly on Koh Samui, Thailand, where a group of expatriates from different corners of the world discovered a shared passion for creativity and storytelling. What started with theatrical productions soon evolved into shooting commercials and television series, turning a spontaneous collaboration into a filmmaking adventure.
We bring together different nationalities, generations, and experiences, with both children and adults contributing their own creative energy. We have no big investors, no corporate sponsors, and no fancy production budgets. Everything we create is funded by ourselves and fueled by pure passion. For us, filmmaking isn’t about having the biggest budget or the best equipment. It’s about imagination, teamwork, and proving that great stories can come from anywhere—even a little island in the Gulf of Thailand.
ทีมที่4: Asphera
Founded in Bangkok in 2025 by two friends who shared a passion for visual storytelling, Asphera wasn’t born in a film school or built around an established production company. It started with two self-taught creatives, an ambitious vision, and the determination to turn ideas into cinematic reality. What began as a passion project quickly evolved into a creative collective that refuses to let conventional boundaries define what it can achieve.
In a short time, Asphera has produced four original short films, worked alongside leading influencers, and collaborated with hundreds of creatives across the industry. Their productions have reached millions of viewers on social media, demonstrating an ability to create content that not only looks cinematic but also connects with audiences. Every project has been an opportunity to sharpen their craft, experiment with new techniques, and develop their own visual identity.
What sets Asphera apart is its combination of independent thinking, real-world production experience, and a fearless approach to creativity. With no formal filmmaking education to dictate how things should be done, the team has learned by doing, adapting, and constantly challenging itself. For Asphera, filmmaking isn’t about following a formula. It’s about creating something worth watching.
ทีมที่5: BUSY
We are BUSY, a fresh team of recent graduates and film students from different universities across Thailand. Balancing freelance jobs, classes, and starting our careers, we are a young crew of native Thai storytellers driven by curiosity and a desire to try new things. Joining the 48 Hour Film Project is our chance to step out of our daily routine, test out new ideas, and see what we can bring to life on screen together.
ทีมที่6: DAYs Film
We come from different corners of the world, shaped by different cultures, experiences, and stories. Our paths were never meant to cross, yet somehow, they all led us to the same place — Bangkok. A city that was once unfamiliar has become the place we call home. Despite our different backgrounds, we now share the same streets, the same experiences, and a common passion for storytelling. What brought us here may be different, but what brings us together is the desire to create something extraordinary.
ทีมที่ 7: Reel Two, Dialog Three
We are a small group of people who believe that some feelings are simply too difficult to put into words. For us, filmmaking is more than just creating something to watch. It is a way to turn our emotions, memories, and personal experiences into stories that others can see, feel, and connect with. Sometimes, a single scene or a piece of music can express more than a thousand words ever could.
Film and music have always been our escape, our comfort, and our way of understanding ourselves. They give us the freedom to step away from reality for a moment, explore our thoughts, and transform even the most complicated emotions into something meaningful. Whether those feelings come from happiness, sadness, uncertainty, or hope, we believe there is always something beautiful worth discovering and sharing.
That is why we are joining the 48 Hour Film Project Bangkok 2026. We are not here simply to make a film, but to share a piece of who we are, how we see the world, and what matters to us. We may not have all the answers or the biggest production team, but we have stories we want to tell and emotions we want to bring to life. If our film can make even one person feel something genuine, then we have already created something meaningful.
ทีมที่8: Swing Sai
Our team brings together people from different creative backgrounds, each with their own experiences, perspectives, and artistic influences. Not all of us come from film schools. Some have developed their skills through photography, while others grew up immersed in performing arts. These different paths have shaped the way we see the world, approach storytelling, and express ourselves through cinema.
What unites us is a shared love for filmmaking and the excitement of creating something that truly reflects who we are. By combining our individual strengths, creative tastes, and visual styles, we hope to produce a memorable film that feels distinctly our own, with a touch of Thainess woven into its storytelling. For us, cinema is where different artistic backgrounds come together to create something none of us could achieve alone.
